Red dry wine made of an endemic variety of grapes cultivated in the mountainous region of Vayots Dzor in Armenia. Megrabuyr dry has a clear scarlet-red color, gives an immediate sense of mold in the nose, bitterness, and aggressiveness on the palate. Slight notes of cantaloupe and walnut linger in the medium-lasting aftertaste. Great accompaniment to Roquefort cheese, vegetable and meat dishes.
"Matevosyan" Pomegranate red semi- sweet and "Matevosyan" Pomegranate red dry wines is maroon in the color, pleasantly tart, and aromatic in the nose. The palate is fruity and more expansively pungent than with grape wines. Tannins are on the soft side. The aftertaste is long-lasting lush berry and pomegranate, with slight notes of chocolate.
The wine retains the beneficial substances contained in the pomegranate seeds, and in moderate doses, it benefits health. The drink contains linolenic acid, which can increase immunity, inhibit the activity of carcinogens, and normalize lipid metabolism. The vitamins C, P, B6, B12, and tannin contained in the fruit itself and already made wine are distinguished by disinfecting properties that help the body resist infections and viruses.
